چکیده
Abstract New paths to increase the sensing performance of plasmonic sensors have been reported in recent years. There are several methodologies achieve such purpose, namely by optimizing nanostructure, nanomaterial and even platform. Recently use nanoparticles over thin films shown sensitivity enhancement, when compared a bare film. Nevertheless, combination between NP film has not studied. In this work it was studied materials order optimize only refractometric but also decrease resultant band width. It found that for Au, Ag Cu films, deposition resulted an overall figure merit (FOM) increase. The larger FOM obtained film, from 42 162 coupled Si nanoparticles. greater achieved nanoparticle, with 1745 3230 nm/RIU.

distributed sensings on temperature and strain have been extensively investigated based on Raman [1] and Brillouin [2] scattering methods, respectively. During the course of our developments on a new sensor which can work as one of sensing elements for multi-point detection using a Rayleighscattering based OTDR through an optical fiber network, a hetero-core fiber optic sensor was exploratively...

A review for optical fiber sensors based on fiber ring laser (FRL) demodulation technology is presented. The review focuses on the principles, main structures, and the sensing performances of different kinds of optical fiber sensors based on FRLs. First of all, the theory background of the sensors has been discussed. Secondly, four different types of sensors are described and compared, which in...
